Rez founded Athena Associates to help business leaders evaluate important growth and investment decisions with greater clarity.

His background spans operating-company finance, corporate development, structured finance, and investment evaluation. It includes roles at GE Capital and Cox Enterprises, alongside advisory work with founder-led and middle-market businesses.

That experience brings two complementary perspectives to Athena’s work: understanding how an investment creates value, and what a management team needs to make the plan work in practice.

Clients work directly with Rez, who interprets the analysis, challenges assumptions, and recommends a practical course of action. An engagement can focus on a single decision or provide ongoing growth and finance support.
